Subject: CA102N, a Conjugate of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and Nimuselide Derivative (H-Nim) Interferes with PI3K/Akt/mTOR Signaling Pathway In Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Cells and Inhibits Tumor Growth in vivo.”

Summary:

• We revealed that CA102N can target the PI3K/Akt/mTOR mediated pathways to inhibit tumor growth, angiogenesis and possibly induce autophagy.
• CA102N treatment results in significant inhibition of tumor cell growth, both in vitro and in vivo.
• Apoptosis induced by CA102N is established as a central mechanism of tumor suppression.
• On the basis of these findings, CA102N is currently under development as a novel therapeutic candidate for the treatment of patients with colorectal cancer.
